Mrs. Helen Dorena Smart, who transitioned on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from labor to rest.

You held our hands when we were small,

You caught us when we took a fall.

You taught us love, you taught us grace,

With every smile upon your face.

You were our heart, our guiding light,

Our safest place, our calm at night.

Now heaven holds your gentle soul,

But here on earth, you made us whole.

We miss your voice, your warm embrace,

The way you lit up every place.

But in our hearts, you still remain,

Through every joy, through every pain.

We'll live the way you taught us to,

With kindness, strength, and love like you.

And when we cry or feel alone,

We'll hear your whisper, soft and known.

So rest now, Mom, your work is done,

Your love lives on in everyone.

We'll carry you through all our days,
