It is with heartfelt sympathy that Harrington Family Mortuary and Cremation Services announce the passing of:

Thomas Patten Rice, III, age 69, of Cairo, Georgia, departed from this walk of life on Monday, September 2, 2024, at his residence. "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8

He was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Lucille and Thomas P. Rice II, and sisters, Angela Rice, Betty R. Thompson, and Freda M. Emmons.

Thomas will be remembered by his sisters, Joan Phillips, Linda LaChance, and Patricia Cochran. The family would like to thank everyone for all the kindness and support we received during this trying time. Though deeply saddened by her passing, there is comfort in the knowledge that she is safe in the arms of Jesus. We pray God's richest blessings upon each of you.
